Salvation Army Camp
Project Description
With 300 kids expected at summer camp in just a few months Slatter Construction tackled the remodel of five dorm cabins and the two level conference center on an expedited schedule.
The job was complicated with the discovery of significant water intrusion to the substructure that required extreme measures to mitigate and rebuild. The site is also home to the protected Mt. Hermon Beetle, requiring crews to develop work and materials storage methods sure to protect this sensitive habitat. Despite these issues, the job was finished on time and on budget.
